MMNCM Christopher A. Tolliver, 43, U.S. Navy, born May 31, 1980, lost the battle within on May 4, 2024. Tolliver served as a Machinist’s Mate (Nuclear) on multiple submarines, including the USS Alabama (SSBN-731). While at sea, he maintained the vessel’s nuclear power plant, essential for underwater propulsion, weapons systems, and overall mission readiness. Tolliver was a patriotic man who was always ready to help those in need. He was a true friend, a loving husband, and a devoted father of five. Fair winds and following seas, Shipmate!
