In Memory OfMMN3 Dakota R. Hering

MMN3 Dakota R. Hering, 20, U.S. Navy, born October 29, 1999, passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2020. Hering was a Machinist's Mate (Nuclear) on the USS Daniel Webster (MTS-626). Aboard the vessel, he trained to operate a nuclear reactor and maintain propulsion systems to ensure our submarines would run safely and efficiently when deployed. Hering enjoyed riding horses, working on his Chevy Silverado, and volunteering in his community. He was a kind man with a quick wit and will be greatly missed. Fair winds and following seas, Shipmate! Til Valhalla, Brother!
