In Memory OfMM3 Larris R. Holland

MM3 Larris R. Holland, 58, U.S. Navy, born January 2, 1938, passed away from health complications on March 31, 1996. During the Cold War, Holland was a Machinist's Mate on the USS Harry E. Hubbard (DD-748) with hunter-killer groups in the Atlantic Fleet. There, he maintained the ship's steam propulsion system as they patrolled the sea to detect and track Soviet submarines. Holland enjoyed the water, fishing, and being with his loved ones. He was a loyal friend, a devoted husband, and a fantastic father. Fair winds and following seas, Shipmate! Til Valhalla, Brother!
