In Memory OfMM1 Scott T. Cassingham

MM1 Scott T. Cassingham, 71, U.S. Navy, born February 27, 1952, passed away on January 2, 2024. Cassingham served as a Machinist's Mate on the USS Lewis and Clark (SSBN-644). During Vietnam, he maintained the submarine's propulsion and reactor systems as they conducted nuclear deterrent patrols in the Atlantic. Cassingham was a cowboy through and through. He enjoyed breaking mustangs, SASS shooting competitions, and fixing up his Conestoga so he could treat his loved ones to some good 'ol chuckwagon chow. Fair winds and following seas, Shipmate! Til Valhalla, Brother!
