Maj Miguel E. Bustamante Jr., 35, U.S. Marine Corps, born March 28, 1930, passed away in the line of duty when his aircraft's controls failed after takeoff on December 18, 1965. Bustamante was a Marine Corps officer and naval test pilot. He rose to Major over a career built in the cockpit. A husband and father of five, he put faith and family first, leading family camping trips and teaching his children to love God, family, and country, in that order. For his service, he was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery. Semper Fi, Marine! Til Valhalla, Brother!
