MAJ Guy W. Davis, 85, U.S. Army, born March 21, 1938, passed away on January 20, 2024. Davis was an Advisor with MACV, Advisory Team 96 in Vietnam. There, he helped our allied Vietnamese forces install equipment to analyze intercepted enemy communication used to plan counterinsurgency operations. After the military, he continued to serve our country with the DOD as part of the "Star Wars" program and the SALT Treaty inspection team in the USSR to help curb the nuclear arms race. For his service, he earned the Bronze Star. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
