LTC Michael S. Busic Jr., 62, U.S. Army, born October 31, 1945, passed away from health complications on September 18, 2008. He served as a Signal Officer in the Vietnam War from 1964-1969, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel from the Army Reserves. He earned the Bronze Star for meritorious service in a combat zone and the Army Commendation Medal for sustained acts of heroism or meritorious service. Beyond his uniform, Michael was known for his steady warmth, humility, and unwavering moral character, deeply loved by his five children. His legacy of courage, compassion, and dedication continues to inspire his family. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
