In Memory OfLieutenant Thomas R. Kelly

Lt. Thomas R. Kelly, 39, FDNY Ladder Company 105, born February 13, 1962, was killed in the line of duty on September 11, 2001. A member of a Ladder 105 company known within the FDNY as "West Point" for producing leaders, Kelly was posthumously promoted to Lieutenant that December. He came from a family of first responders, following his firefighter father and brother into the department. An avid cyclist, scuba diver, and volunteer at the Atlantis Aquarium and a dive rescue team, he'd recently completed a 375-mile charity ride for AIDS research. Fly High, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
