In Memory OfLCpl James F. Kimple

LCpl James F. Kimple, 21, U.S.M.C., born August 8, 1986, was killed in action on May 2, 2008. Kimple was a Maintenance Management Specialist with Combat Logistics Battalion 1, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group in Iraq. While providing security for a recovery mission in Karmah, he was manning a Humvee turret when the vehicle was struck by an IED. Kimble and three fellow Marines were killed in the blast. For his service, he earned a Purple Heart, the Bronze Star and has a highway named in his honor. Semper Fi, Marine! Til Valhalla, Brother!
