In Memory OfFirefighter Frank A. Palombo

FF Frank A. Palombo, 46, FDNY Ladder Company 105, born March 14, 1955, was killed in the line of duty on September 11, 2001. A 22-year FDNY veteran and devoted Union Representative, Palombo believed saving souls mattered as much as saving bodies from fire. Father to ten children, he cherished playing and praying with each of them, viewing them as undeserved gifts from God. Fellow firefighters later stepped in as father figures for his family, cooking them dinner every Monday for years. Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til Valhalla, Brother!
