Fire Chief Brian S. Zalewski, 50, Chickasha Fire Department, born in Oklahoma October 28, 1972, passed away from a heart attack on August 31, 2023. To say Zalewski was a full-blooded First Responder would be an understatement. He served with the Chickasha F.D. for 25 years and became Chief of the Department. His dedication didn't end there. Zalewski was also a Paramedic Instructor, a Registered Nurse, a Critical Care Life Flight Nurse, and a Reserve Sheriff's Deputy with the Grady County Sheriff's Office.
