In Memory OfFF Parker A. Hess

FF Parker A. Hess, 16, Republic Volunteer Fire Company (RVFC), born November 22, 2000, passed away unexpectedly on November 27, 2016. Hess dreamt of one day joining the FDNY and knew the RVFC was the perfect place to gain experience. There, he managed the equipment, rolled hoses, and assisted with traffic and flood control. Hess's talents were quickly recognized, and the department sent the 16-year-old prodigy on over 100 emergency calls. For his service, there is a scholarship program named in his honor. Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til Valhalla, Brother!
