In Memory OfFF Charles E. Shauger

FF Charles E. Shauger, 59, Sparrowbush Fire Rescue (SFR), born January 29, 1966, passed away in a car accident on February 15, 2025. Shauger was first with Cuddebackville F.D. for 15 years and reached the rank of Captain. He was then with the SFR as an Exterior Firefighter and Fire Police Officer, ensuring the safety of responders and civilians in emergency operations. Shauger enjoyed hunting, riding ATVs, and cheering on his Buffalo Bills. He was a protector, a community hero, but above all, he was a family man. Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til Valhalla, Brother!
