In Memory OfENS Cory A. Voss

ENS Cory A. Voss, 30, U.S. Navy, born January 21, 1977, passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2007. Voss served as a Communications Officer on the USS Elrod (FFG- 55). While at sea, he ensured the ship stayed connected to fleet and command as they conducted counter-terrorism patrols in the Mediterranean Sea. Voss enjoyed basketball, going to his kids' soccer games, and living life to the fullest. He was known for his goofy sense of humor and welcoming personality, which always made him the life of the party. Fair winds and following seas, Shipmate! Til Valhalla, Brother!
