EMT-P Eric R. Thomas, 37, a flight paramedic with Lifestar of Amarillo, born October 22, 1987, lost the battle within on March 21, 2025. Flying since 2014, he stepped into chaos so others could come home. He carried patients' last words and last hopes with a quiet, steady strength. An outdoorsman, reader, and guitarist, he loved hunting and loud music, but loved Monica and their children, Ariana and Ian, most of all. He sought no recognition, yet colleagues recall his composure and kindness under pressure. Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til Valhalla, Brother!
