EMS Captain Ethan M. Stadler, 23, Polk Jackson Perry Fire District (PJPFD), born in Ohio December 13, 1998, passed away in a motorcycle accident on October 2, 2022. Stadler began his service to Polk Jackson Perry in 2019 and was quick to impress. He reached the rank of Captain in just two years and awarded "EMT of the Year" in 2021. In addition to the PJPFD, Stadler was also a Volunteer Firefighter for several other local Fire Districts. For his service, there is a memorial scholarship in his name.
