In Memory OfDetective Stuart F. Fishkin

Detective Stuart F. Fishkin, 48, NYPD, born May 24, 1966, passed away from 9/11- related cancer on May 8, 2015. After the terrorist attack on 9/11, Fishkin rushed to Ground Zero to aid in rescue and recovery. For weeks, he tirelessly searched for survivors in the rubble. Years later, he became another victim of extended exposure to toxic materials at the site of what were once the tallest buildings in America. For his service, he earned the 9/11 Heroes Medal of Valor and the NYPD Distinguished Service Medal. Rest easy; we have the watch now! Til Valhalla, Brother!
