In Memory OfDetective Brendan R. Arlington

Detective Brendan R. Arlington, 42, Largo Police Department, born January 21, 1979, lost the battle within on January 21, 2021. Arlington gave 16 years to the Largo Police Department, nearly a decade of it as a detective, building cases and sitting with victims on the worst day of their lives. Named Police Officer of the Year, he was the one his colleagues wanted on it. At home he cooked, played music, and drew, a comics fan who read about the world's greatest detective as a boy and grew up to be one. He is survived by his children, Savannah and Sean. Rest easy. We have the watch.
