Deputy Sheriff Joshua E. Norris, 22, Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, born in Louisiana April 26, 1985, was killed in the line of duty on July 5, 2007. Norris wanted to be in law enforcement from a young age, so it was no surprise when he joined JPSO where his brothers were also Deputies. He truly wanted to make a difference, and even though he was only on the force for one year, he had a positive impact on his community.
