In Memory OfDeputy Sheriff Eric A. Minix

Deputy Sheriff Eric A. Minix, 31, Coweta County Sheriff's Office (CCSO), born June 8, 1992, passed away in the line of duty on January 4, 2024. Minix began his service as a Deputy Sheriff with CCSO before joining the Tyrone Police Department as a K-9 Officer. After five years, he transferred back to Coweta County where he rose to rank of Investigator with their Crime Suppression Unit. For his service, he was posthumously named "Officer of the Year" and has a K-9 training facility named in his honor. Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til Valhalla, Brother!
