Deputy Bradley S.H. Johnson, 32, Bibb County Sheriff's Office, born October 27, 1989, was shot and killed in the line of duty on June 30, 2022. A first responder since age 17 and a certified K9 handler, Johnson was backing up a fellow deputy in pursuit of a stolen vehicle when the suspect opened fire. Known for running headfirst toward anyone who needed help, he saved still more lives even in passing through organ donation.
