DC2 Andrew S. Birmingham, 28, U.S. Navy, born March 4, 1996, passed away unexpectedly on September 28, 2024. Birmingham was a Damage Controlman on the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71). During Operation Inherent Resolve, he maintained the ship's critical safety systems as Carrier Air Wing 17 launched airstrikes against ISIS forces in Iraq and Syria.
