CW4 Joseph M. Henry, 42, U.S. Army, Missouri Army National Guard born in
Missouri March 24, 1978, lost the battle within on March 11, 2021. Henry was a
Blackhawk Pilot for 18 years and deployed to the Middle East multiple times. While
on a mission in Iraq with 1st Aviation Regiment, he became well-known when his
crew provided cover for ground units with dangerous low-level strafing runs to
draw fire and eliminate enemy forces, allowing for a safe extraction. For his
service, he was awarded an Air Medal with "V" device. Rest easy, Hero! Til
