CPT William J. Miller, 77, U.S. Army, born December 21, 1947, in Milford, Ohio, passed away from cancer on March 4, 2025. A decorated Vietnam veteran, Captain Miller served as a Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol (LRRP) officer, leading small teams deep into enemy territory with courage and precision. His leadership earned him the rank of Captain at a young age, a testament to his abilities under fire. After his service, Bill became a skilled stonemason, building with the same deliberate care he applied in the field. He filled his home with music and stories, making history come alive for his family. He was a devoted husband to Lisa, a loving father to his seven children, and a cherished grandfather.
