In Memory OfCPT Carroll W. Spragins

CPT Carroll W. Spragins, 26, U.S. Army, born October 1, 1943, passed away unexpectedly on March 10, 1970. Spragins, known as "the old man" to his unit, served as a Captain in the 272nd Military Police Company in South Vietnam, maintaining order and providing spiritual guidance. He was a man of deep conviction, establishing a makeshift church in Vietnam and baptizing dozens of servicemen and local citizens. Spragins leaves behind his wife, Nicole, and daughter, Joyelle.
