In Memory OfCpl Stephen B. Saxon

Cpl Stephen B. Saxon, 26, U.S.M.C., born December 25, 1988, lost the battle within on April 22, 2015. Saxon served with 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was then sent to the Gulf of Aden, where he helped rescue the entire crew of the M/V Magellan Star after it had been hijacked by Somali pirates. Saxon enjoyed playing poker, shooting sports, and riding his motorcycle. He is remembered as a true Texan who never failed to make others feel like family. Semper Fi, Marine! Til Valhalla, Brother!
