In Memory OfCpl Roy L. Herr Jr.

Cpl Roy L. Herr Jr., 36, U.S. Marine Corps, born June 09, 1986, passed away from injuries in a motorcycle accident on November 10, 2022. Herr served as a Scout with 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance through two deployments to Iraq. He earned his corporal's stripes, the Iraq Campaign Medal, and the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal. Fellow Marines remember the quietly confident NCO who led by example and built up the men around him. An avid Harley rider, he married Rachel just months before his passing. He is survived by Rachel and their son, Roy III. Semper Fi, Marine! Til Valhalla, Brother!
