Cpl Richard T. Jenkins, 83, U.S.M.C., born February 14, 1938, passed away on December 24,
2021. Jenkins served as an Aviation Electronics Operator with 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing at MCAS Cherry Point, ensuring that the radio, radar, and fire control systems used by our aircraft that would deploy should tensions with the Soviet Union escalate. Beyond his service, Jenkins enjoyed bowling, gardening, and golfing. He was also a gifted chef and loved nothing more than cooking for his loved ones on special occasions. Semper Fi, Marine!
