CPL Jaron D. Holliday, 21, U.S. Army, born in Missouri November 23, 1985, was killed in action on August 4, 2007. Holliday was a Cavalry Scout with 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, and deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom. While conducting combat operations in Hawr Rajab, his Humvee was struck by an IED. Holliday and two of his brothers-in-arms did not survive the blast. For his service, he earned a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star and has a music scholarship program in his name. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
