In Memory OfCPL Edmond P. La Breck Jr.

CPL Edmond P. La Breck Jr., 18, U.S. Army, born March 17, 1932, was declared MIA on December 2, 1950. La Breck was a Light Weapons Infantryman with 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division in the Korean War. At the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir, his unit was surrounded and overrun by Chinese forces. Amid blizzard conditions, relentless enemy fire, and sub-zero temperatures, La Breck became separated from his Company during the withdrawal and was never seen again. For his service, he earned the Purple Heart. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
