In Memory OfCPL Earl L. Downs

CPL Earl L. Downs, 81, U.S. Army, born in Oklahoma January 26, 1932, passed away on April 8, 2013. Downs served with an anti-aircraft unit in the 2nd Armored Division and stationed in Germany during the Korean War. There, he participated in joint military defensive and offensive exercises with NATO in the early stages of the Cold War. Downs was a family man of tremendous faith. He was an active member of his congregation and a special adviser to the church board. Downs was a true pillar of his community. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
