In Memory OfCpl & Deputy Sheriff Fred A. Fislar

Cpl & Deputy Sheriff Fred A. Fislar, 28, U.S.M.C., Hendricks County Sheriff's Office
(HCSO), passed away in the line of duty on April 16, 2024. After serving four years
as a Combat Engineer in the Corps, Fislar joined the HCSO. He was instantly
recognized as a brave and caring man with deep affection for his fellow peace
officers and dedication to serving his community. For his service, he was
posthumously awarded the Law Enforcement Purple Heart, Medal of Bravery, Medal
of Honor, and named 2024's Deputy of the Year. Semper Fi, Marine! Til Valhalla,
