CPL Benjamin C. Dillon, 22, U.S. Army, born September 16, 1985, was killed in action on October 6, 2007. Dillon was an Infantryman with 3rd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment and deployed to the Middle East four times. While on a mission in Mosul, his unit was attacked by enemies hiding in a building. As his team moved clear the structure, Dillon provided cover fire, taking out two suicide bomber vehicles and multiple Insurgents until being struck by small arms fire. For his service, he earned a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star with "V" device. Rest easy, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
