In Memory OfCpl Andrew T. Mather

Cpl Andrew T. Mather, 33, U.S.M.C., born July 16, 1990, passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2024. Mather was a Mortarman with 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, and deployed for Operation Enduring Freedom. In Afghanistan, he provided critical fire support for ground troops conducting counterinsurgency missions in Helmand Province. Mather was a selfless man and often traveled to third-world countries to help build villages. He is remembered for his big heart and unwavering loyalty to his loved ones. Semper Fi, Marine!
