In Memory OfCorrectional Officer Charles T. Ellixson IV

Correctional Officer Charles T. Ellixson IV, 52, Mohawk Correctional Facility (MCF), born May 17, 1972, passed away from cardiac arrest on July 25, 2024. Ellixson worked in D.O.C. for over 20 years. From Sing Sing to MCF, he was devoted to helping inmates and did all he could to teach them to become productive members of society when they got out. Ellixson truly cared for others and wanted to make the world a safer place, so in addition to his work in the D.O.C., he was also a volunteer with the Whitesboro F.D.
