Corporal Matthew D. Moore, 41, Keller Police Department, born July 19, 1983, lost the battle within on January 19, 2025. Growing up in Hurst, Texas, Matt was a competitive athlete who found his calling in law enforcement after becoming a father at 16. He joined the Keller Police Department in 2006, serving 19 years in patrol, as a Detective, and later as Corporal. Matt was instrumental in building the department's Drone Unit and earned his Master Peace Officer Certification. Named Supervisor of the Year in 2023, he was a mentor and confidant to his colleagues. He is survived by his wife, Amanda, and children, Matthew Jr. and Abigail. Matt’s dedication to his community and family defined his extraordinary life. Rest easy; We have the watch now!
