COL James B. Argersinger, 89, U.S. Air Force, born in November 23, 1923, passed away on August 28, 2013. In WWII, Argersinger served in the China-Burma-India Theater, providing air support for our ground troops. He was assigned to Aerial Weather Duty over the North Pole and then as a Wing Staff Officer with SAC. Argersinger was called to the Pentagon as a secretary to the Joint Chief of Staff before his final deployment in Vietnam with the 12th Air Force. For his service, he earned the Bronze Star and the Legion of Merit. Fly high, Hero! Til Valhalla, Brother!
