Chief Deputy Kenneth M. Prorok, 51, Moody County Sheriff's Office (MCSO), born June 28, 1972, passed away in the line of duty on February 2, 2024. Prorok served with the MCSO for eight years and was quickly noticed for his devotion to his community. An honest and fair man with a strong moral compass, he made it his mission in life to serve and protect those in need of help. In his honor, when a Deputy shows outstanding dedication, they earn the "Chief Deputy Ken Prorok Highway Safety Officer of the Year Award." Rest easy; We have the watch now! Til Valhalla, Brother!
