In Memory OfCapt Neil E. Forsberg

CPT Neil E. Forsberg, 33, U.S. Marine Corps, born May 4, 1959, passed away from cancer on October 18, 1992. Forsberg was the rare officer who never forgot what it meant to be enlisted, rising through the ranks from TOW Company to commanding his own detachment aboard the USS Wasp during Operation Desert Storm. He was known for his unwavering support of his Marines, giving away old uniforms, opening his home, and coaching youth sports. He is survived by his wife Rene, two children, and grandchildren.
