In Memory OfCapt Miguel J. Nava

Capt Miguel J. Nava, 28, U.S.M.C., born in Michigan September 30, 1995, passed away in a training accident on February 7, 2024. Nava was a CH-53E Super Stallion Pilot with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361 and was stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. While on a nighttime training exercise to enhance his crew's ability to operate in low-light situations, his helicopter suffered a major mechanical malfunction and plummeted from the sky. Nava and four of his brothers-in-arms did not survive the crash. Semper Fi, Marine! Til Valhalla, Brother!
