In Memory OfBMCM Robert J. Fieck

BMCM Robert J. Fieck, 77, U.S. Coast Guard, born January 16, 1947, passed away
on March 2, 2024. Fieck served as a Boatswain's Mate aboard the USCGC Point
Brown (WPB-82362). In his 20 years of service, he participated in the South
American Tuna Wars, provided logistics support for Antarctic research stations, and
monitored Soviet activity in the Arctic. In addition to operations abroad, Fieck was
involved in many successful missions in the Gulf, preventing large drug shipments
from reaching the U.S. Fair winds and following seas, Shipmate! Til Valhalla, Brother!
