In Memory OfAW3 Mohammed S. Haitham

AW3 Mohammed S. Haitham, 19, U.S. Navy, born December 16, 1999, was killed in the line of duty on December 6, 2019, in the terrorist attack at NAS Pensacola. Just months into his Navy career, Haitham had graduated boot camp with honors and reported to Pensacola to train as a Naval Aircrewman. He met every challenge with the perseverance of the standout distance runner he had been in St. Petersburg. Haitham gave his life at 19, among the fallen who acted with courage that day. He was posthumously awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Medal and the Purple Heart. Fair winds and following seas, Shipmate! Til Valhalla, Brother!
