Amn Jewel R. Jaco, 70, U.S. Army Air Corps, U.S. Air Force, born in Missouri March
26, 1929, passed away on May 18, 1999. Eager to serve our country, Jaco enlisted
in the Army Air Corps at just 17 to fight the Axis powers in WWII. After the war,
Jaco joined the Air Force and was stationed at Scott Air Force Base until being
honorably discharged. Jaco was a caring man of unwavering generosity. In
addition to caring for his five children, he fostered nearly 100 children, ensuring
each of them found a loving family. Fly high, Airman! Til Valhalla, Brother!
