AM2 Nicholas A. Byrne, 22, U.S. Navy, born July 30, 2002, was killed in a traffic collision on January 26, 2025. An aviation structural mechanic with Patrol Squadron 10, Byrne met every challenge the Navy gave him with an energy that won over his whole command, rising fast in the ranks before his life was cut short. He was the seventh straight generation of his family to wear the uniform, a proud legacy he carried into a career of real promise. Single, he is survived by his father, Robert, his mother, and a grateful family. Fair winds and following seas, Shipmate! Til Valhalla, Brother!
