AM1 Marcia L. Kafar, 60, U.S. Navy, born in Iowa August 4, 1963, passed away on February 12, 2024. Kafar proudly served as an Aviation Structural Mechanic and deployed to Hawaii, Japan, and then to Chanute Air Force Base. There, she helped maintain F-16 fighter jets, ensuring they were always flight-worthy. Kafar is remembered for her strong personality, kind demeanor, and a smile that lit up the room.
