In Memory OfAB Isaac W. Anderson Sr.

AB Isaac W. Anderson Sr., 22, U.S. Air Force, born March 30, 1930, passed away in a plane crash on November 22, 1952. During the Korean War, Anderson served with 1705th Air Transport Group, 34th Air Transport Squadron. While transporting cargo and personnel to Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska, his C-124A Globemaster II crashed into a glacier after encountering bad weather and was buried in the ice. Over 60 years later, Anderson was identified via dental records, and in 2019, he was laid to rest in his hometown of Tampa. Fly high, Airman! Til Valhalla, Brother!
