In Memory OfA1C Norbert L. Klar

A1C Norbert L. Klar, 94, U.S. Air Force, born October 13, 1928, passed away on September 18, 2023. Klar was an Active Combat Crew Electronic Countermeasures Operator with the 343rd Reconnaissance Squadron in the Korean War. While flying critical intelligence-gathering missions over hostile territory, he jammed enemy radar and communications to cloak his B-29 from fighters and anti-aircraft positions. Klar enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and globetrotting with his wife. He was a kind man who found joy in helping others. Fly high, Airman! Til Valhalla, Brother!
