2d Lt Travis M. Jordan, 23, U.S. Air Force, born in Texas January 26, 1993, lost the battle within on May 5, 2016. During the War on Terror, Jordan served with 6th Air Mobility Wing at MacDill Air Force Base. There, he worked with the Public Affairs Division, promoting transparency to inform the public of the unit's values, accomplishments, and goals. Jordan was a man with a generous spirit who believed in giving back to veterans and civilians alike. For his service, there is a Red Cross Rest and Recovery Center named in his honor.
