1ST SGT Charles B. Reese Sr., 93, U.S. Army, born August 27, 1931, passed away from health complications March 7, 2025. He served with distinction in the infantry during the Korean War, relaying artillery coordinates and spotting enemy positions. A dedicated drill sergeant and first sergeant, he later assisted veterans with VA bureaucracy and led local veteran musters. Beyond his military service, Charles was a devoted missionary in Russia and Ukraine, a passionate traveler, and found joy riding his tractor, hunting, and gardening. Rest easy, Hero!
