1st Sgt Arvin L. Manning, 45, U.S. Marine Corps, born June 2, 1978, in AL, passed away from cancer on May 4, 2024. Known to all as LeBron, he followed his military father’s footsteps into the Marine Corps, seeking the hardest path available. He became one of the Corps’ finest NCOs, serving 27 years with MARSOC, deploying multiple times to Iraq and Afghanistan. LeBron met his wife Kathryn in San Diego, and she became his steadfast partner through deployments, and travel. Diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer from burn pit exposure, he fought for 383 days, advocating tirelessly for fellow Marines. Semper Fi, Marine! Til Valhalla, Brother!
